Markets @ the Quay was advertised for Saturday, 6 December 2025, from 3pm to 8pm at Elizabeth Quay in Perth, with free admission. The date has passed; the available listings describe the planned event, not confirmation that every activity went ahead as scheduled.
When and where were the markets?
The event listing placed Markets @ the Quay at Elizabeth Quay on Saturday, 6 December 2025, from 3pm to 8pm. Admission was described as free. These details were reported by PerthNow and also appeared in a 2025 Perth visitor guide.
What was advertised at the market?
More than 60 artisan stalls
PerthNow reported more than 60 local artisans, with stalls offering handmade items, beauty products, boutique jewellery, local fashion, original artworks and gifts. The listing presented the market as a broad browse-and-shop event rather than one focused on a particular product.
Family activities and entertainment
The advertised program included free lawn games and face painting, roaming elves, live carols and local musicians. Children were also invited to write and decorate letters to Santa at a workshop. Santa was scheduled to arrive at 4pm and remain until 7pm.

- Each 5.8 x 5.8 inch paperboard card is distressed in brown for a unique and vintage look.
- Red letters are backed with a soft olive green flourish.
- Strung on coordinating green satin ribbon, MERRY CHRISTMAS stretches over 54" hung double, and over 84" hung side by side.
- Sturdy enough to stand up to years of use, this banner is also light enough to be hung up with just scotch tape!
How did the event connect to the Christmas Lights Trail?
PerthNow linked the evening to the Bridge of Light, described as the grand finale of the 2025 Rio Tinto Christmas Lights Trail. Its account said visitors could walk through a tunnel of illuminated LED trees. That description refers to the trail installation; it does not mean the market itself was scheduled to continue beyond its advertised 8pm finish.
What is known about a later edition?
The listings establish the advertised schedule for 6 December 2025, but they do not confirm after the fact that each activity took place as planned. They also do not establish a later edition. Christmas events can change from year to year, so details for another season should be checked against that year’s announcement rather than carried forward from the 2025 listing.
