Yes. In FX’s 2024 series Shōgun, Mariko dies at the end of Episode 9, “Crimson Sky,” during a shinobi attack. Her seppuku attempt earlier in the episode is interrupted; it is not how she dies. This answer is specific to the FX series, since the novel and other adaptations are separate versions.
How Mariko dies in Episode 9
In “Crimson Sky,” Mariko resists Ishido’s efforts to keep her in Osaka and tries to leave. She then attempts seppuku, but that attempt is stopped. Later, during a shinobi attack, she dies. FX’s Episode 9 guide identifies the episode, and the official FX podcast transcript discusses the sequence and her death.

The distinction matters: the interrupted ritual suicide is not the death scene. Mariko dies later in the episode, in the attack.
Why her death matters to the story
Her death has political consequences as well as personal ones. FX’s Episode 10 guide describes the aftermath and says the Regents have lost allies. Episode 9 director Fred Toye also characterizes Mariko’s actions in the attack’s final moments as a sacrifice for Toranaga’s plan.

The episode’s official podcast places her attempt to leave Osaka and her resistance to Ishido within the conflict over her agency. Co-creator Rachel Kondo discusses the flashback to her father, Akechi Jinsai, and the family’s disgrace; that is creator commentary on the character and story, not a historical account.

This answer is about FX’s 2024 series. FX’s Episode 10 guide confirms the aftermath within that series. The research establishing this answer does not verify the plot details of James Clavell’s novel or the 1980 miniseries, so their versions should not be assumed to match scene for scene. TV Guide identifies the series as an adaptation of Clavell’s novel: TV Guide’s adaptation comparison.
