Netflix’s reported U.S. release schedule lists October 18, 2024, as the series’ start date, one week after its Crunchyroll debut. The date answers when the Netflix rollout began; it does not establish that the series is currently available in every country. GamesRadar’s release schedule records the 2024 timing.

Where can you watch Dragon Ball DAIMA now?
The official Dragon Ball DAIMA site lists Netflix and Crunchyroll as worldwide outlets, alongside services associated with particular regions. Its outlet information is regularly updated, but a worldwide listing is not a guarantee that a specific service carries the series in your country today. Search your local Netflix and Crunchyroll catalogs, or consult the series site’s outlet list for regional options.
The original Crunchyroll rollout was different from the later Netflix date: Toei Animation announced subtitled streaming from October 11, 2024, in the United States, Canada, Latin America including Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, and Southeast Asia. New subtitled episodes were then scheduled weekly to simulcast with Japanese television. Those details describe the 2024 launch plan, not a current episode schedule. Toei Animation’s announcement has the original territory and schedule information.

What is Dragon Ball DAIMA about?
In the official synopsis, Goku and his companions are living peacefully until a conspiracy turns them small. They investigate a possible connection to the Demon Realm, where they encounter a mysterious young Majin named Glorio. The premise launches a new adventure rather than describing a documentary or a recap of the franchise. The official series site provides the synopsis and credits.

Akira Toriyama is credited for the original work, story, and character design. Yoshitaka Yashima is credited as director, Aya Komaki as series director, and Yuko Kakihara for series composition and scenario. Toei Animation’s 2024 release announcement also credits Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru with animation character design. Toei’s announcement lists the animation-design credit.
