Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 19 is framed around a major visual milestone: adult-form Vegeta as Super Saiyan 3 and Goku as Super Saiyan 4. The official material available here confirms the series setup and the battle that leads into the episode, but not a scene-by-scene account of Episode 19. That distinction matters: the transformations make the episode a notable franchise moment, while claims about exactly how they happen or what they mean in DAIMA’s story require the episode itself.
What happens in Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 19?
The episode’s defining hook is the return to adult forms alongside Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta and Super Saiyan 4 Goku. The exact scene order, dialogue, and explanation for how the characters regain adult forms are not established by the official sources cited below, so they should not be treated as confirmed details without checking the episode.
DAIMA’s official premise sets up an adventure in which a conspiracy suddenly turns Goku and his companions small. The characters suspect the Demon Realm may be involved, and they encounter Glorio, a mysterious young Majin. Toei Animation lists the production date as 2024 in its official series catalog.
How Episode 19 follows the Gomah battle setup
The official preview for the climax describes the conflict immediately before Episode 19. Sensing King Gomah’s power, Goku calls on his companions to attack together. Vegeta and the others fight alongside Majin Kuu, Majin Duu, and Tamagami Number One, but they struggle against the threat.

Does Vegeta go Super Saiyan 3 in DAIMA?
Episode 19 is identified with Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta in the title’s framing. The important distinction is between the adult-form transformation highlighted there and separate DAIMA collectibles that depict Mini Vegeta. Tamashii Nations’ catalog lists an S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta (Mini) -DAIMA- figure; that product listing is evidence of a licensed character design, not an explanation of the episode’s transformation or its story rules. The catalog notes that release information applies to Japan and sales situations vary by country: Tamashii Nations’ DAIMA catalog.

Does Goku become Super Saiyan 4 in DAIMA?
Super Saiyan 4 Goku is the other major transformation associated with Episode 19. Official product listings confirm that Bandai labels a Dragon Stars figure “Super Saiyan 4 Goku [DAIMA Ver.]” and describes show-inspired detailing, interchangeable hands, and collectible packaging: Bandai’s product listing.
The official Dragon Ball site also announced a Figuarts ZERO [Extra Battle] Super Saiyan 4 Goku -DAIMA- figure, describing it as recreating a scene in which Goku faces Giant Gomah and uses a Kamehameha: the figure announcement. Product pages establish the DAIMA labeling and the existence of licensed figures; they do not, by themselves, establish a detailed comparison of this transformation’s lore with earlier Dragon Ball versions.

Why Episode 19 is a big deal—and what “redefine” can mean
Pairing Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta with Super Saiyan 4 Goku gives the episode unusually strong franchise-recognition value: two familiar characters appear in forms associated with different visual eras of Dragon Ball. In DAIMA, the adult-form emphasis also creates a striking contrast with a series whose official premise begins by shrinking Goku and his companions.
That makes “redefine the anime” an interpretation of the episode’s significance, not a fact demonstrated by the official sources. The available official pages do not establish audience impact, ratings, viewership, or a definitive change to Dragon Ball continuity. Nor do they provide a detailed transformation-lore comparison. The strongest supported conclusion is narrower: Episode 19 is presented as a major transformation milestone, and official DAIMA merchandise confirms the franchise’s licensed use of Super Saiyan 4 Goku imagery.
