A February 15, 2025 report linked outages across several streaming services, including piracy sites, to the release of Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 18. The available account does not verify that one specific site crashed, establish that it was the world’s biggest, or prove that the episode caused the outages.
What was reported about DAIMA episode 18?
Secondary reporting connected the episode’s February 15, 2025 release with server outages affecting several streaming services, including piracy websites. An EncycloReader summary referencing CBR’s report describes the incident, but does not identify a verified piracy site or provide outage duration, user counts, traffic data, or a confirmed technical cause.

That distinction matters: an outage reported around an episode’s release is not, by itself, proof that the episode caused it. The report also does not substantiate the headline’s ranking claim that the affected site was the world’s biggest anime piracy site.
Why did the headline say “the world’s biggest”?
The phrase is a superlative, not a verified ranking in the evidence available for this incident. No independent measurement establishes which anime piracy site held that position at the time, and the account does not name a confirmed target. Treat “Dragon Ball DAIMA crashes world’s biggest anime piracy site” as a headline framing of the report, not a demonstrated fact about a specific site.

Why was episode 18 drawing attention?
Secondary coverage placed the episode near the series finale, when viewers were following major developments in the story. That offers context for why the release may have attracted attention, but no cited measurement connects audience demand to the reported outages. The scale and cause of any traffic increase remain unestablished.
Where can you watch Dragon Ball DAIMA legally?
Availability depends on territory and can change as streaming rights and catalogs change. The official DAIMA website’s “ON AIR” listing names Hulu for North America and Crunchyroll and Netflix among worldwide services, alongside platforms for other regions. Check the listing for your location rather than assuming one service carries the series everywhere.

- Reported: Several streaming services, including piracy websites, experienced outages after episode 18 premiered, according to secondary coverage.
- Not established: A named site’s identity, its ranking, outage duration, affected user count, traffic volume, or a proven cause.
There is no basis in the cited account for saying that Crunchyroll itself crashed. That phrasing appears as an informal search query, not as verified evidence about Crunchyroll.
