Donna Kelce called her son Travis “very coachable” at the New York City premiere of FX’s Grotesquerie, tying that quality to his years playing team sports. She also said she was not surprised he wanted to try acting and praised his work ethic.
What Donna Kelce said about Travis’s acting debut
Speaking with People, in a report republished by AOL, Donna said she thought acting was something Travis had “always had in the back of his mind.” She described him as “very coachable,” connecting that trait to his long experience in team sports.

Donna said she was not particularly surprised by the opportunity: Travis would want to give acting a try if the chance came along, she explained. She also credited his work ethic, saying he was good at many things because of it. Those are her impressions as his mother, rather than an independent assessment of his acting.
How Travis described learning to act
Travis has distinguished this role from appearances in which he played himself. In an interview with Good Morning America, he said portraying a character meant working through the emotions in a scene and understanding the script. “But it’s a challenge,” he added.
