Priscilla Presley said in a 2014 Facebook Q&A that she still had the ring Elvis gave her. Her reported answer was, “Yes I do. Maybe one day.” That is the clearest attributable answer located, but it does not independently confirm that she still has the ring today.
What Priscilla Presley said about the ring
A 2025 article by The Diamond Collective reports that Presley answered a fan’s question about her wedding ring in a 2014 Facebook Q&A: “Yes I do. Maybe one day.” The fan had asked whether she still had the ring and said it would be lovely to see its design. The answer indicates that she had it in 2014 and suggested she might show it someday; it is not a current statement about its whereabouts.
The 2025 article is secondary reporting, not a new confirmation from Presley. A Christopher Ameruoso YouTube listing dated September 12, 2024, is titled “Priscilla Presley answers your questions. Elvis’s engagement and wedding ring,” but its available description does not give her answer, so it does not establish current ownership.
How Priscilla described Elvis’s engagement ring
In her 1985 memoir Elvis and Me, as quoted by The Diamond Collective, Presley described a 3.5-carat diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds that could be detached and worn separately. She recalled opening the box to find “the most beautiful diamond ring I’d ever seen,” and wrote that Elvis slipped it onto her finger in what she called “the most beautiful and romantic moment of my life.”

The reported weight is not consistent across published accounts. HISTORY.com describes the engagement ring as three carats, while The Diamond Collective’s account of Presley’s memoir says 3.5 carats. The 3.5-carat figure should therefore be understood as the memoir description as quoted by that outlet, not an uncontested measurement.
What is known about the ring’s public visibility
The Presleys married in Las Vegas on May 1, 1967. The Diamond Collective says the engagement ring has remained largely out of sight, with glimpses in a handful of wedding photographs. Available reporting does not establish its present location or confirm that it is on public display.

The engagement ring should also not be confused with the couple’s wedding bands or with other Elvis-related rings discussed in auction coverage. The available reporting does not verify a sale of Priscilla Presley’s engagement ring.
