REVAMPED is Demi Lovato’s 10-track collection of rock reworkings of songs first released in other arrangements. The album came out on September 15, 2023, after Lovato and her band began reshaping older pop hits for the setlist on the 2022 HOLY FVCK Tour.
What is Demi Lovato’s REVAMPED album?
REVAMPED revisits songs from Lovato’s earlier catalog with new, rock-oriented arrangements and rerecorded vocals. The release announcement describes the tracks as rock versions; Apple Music classifies the album as Pop and describes heavier guitars and drums alongside Lovato’s “current edgier, rock style.” Those are different descriptions from different sources, rather than a single definitive genre label.

Lovato said the aim was to honor the songs fans connected with while giving them “an exciting new life.” In the album description on Lovato’s official store and in Universal Music Canada’s announcement, she also said making the project was fun, let her express her passion for rock in a new way, and made her feel closer to her older music.
Why did Lovato remake the songs?
The idea reportedly grew out of the 2022 HOLY FVCK Tour. Lovato and the band worked older pop songs into the live set by reworking their arrangements so they would sit more naturally beside newer rock material; studio recordings followed. In an interview text attributed to Rolling Stone and republished by Demi Lovato Web, Lovato described deciding after the tour to record and release those versions. The original Rolling Stone page was not independently verified, so that account is best treated as a reported explanation of the album’s origins.
