How does this differ from Disney’s Magic Kingdom Cars plans?
The Hollywood Studios venue change and the later Magic Kingdom announcement are separate developments:
| Development | Park | What it describes |
|---|---|---|
| Reported successor to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy | Disney’s Hollywood Studios | A Disney Villains stage show planned for the former show venue, as reported by Disney by Mark. |
| Announced Cars attractions | Magic Kingdom | Two Cars-themed attractions planned for a reimagined section of Frontierland, according to Disney’s official announcement. |
Disney’s announcement quoted Michael Hundgen, Walt Disney Imagineering Portfolio Executive Producer: “We are thrilled to create this original Cars adventure and put our guests in the driver’s seat as we—quite literally—explore a new frontier in Frontierland,”
