Disney+ is raising U.S. prices again. The standalone ad-supported plan goes up 50 cents to $12.49 per month, while Disney+ Premium rises $2.50 to $21.49 per month. Existing subscribers will see the new rate in a billing period on or after October 21, 2026; new subscriptions are charged the higher prices from September 23, 2026.
How much does Disney+ cost now?
Disney’s U.S. pricing guidance lists these standalone rates. The monthly increases are $0.50 for the ad-supported plan and $2.50 for Premium.

When does the increase start?
New subscriptions are subject to the updated prices as of September 23, 2026. If you subscribed before that date, Disney says the new rate applies in a billing period on or after October 21, 2026. Your exact charge date depends on your billing cycle and, if applicable, the company that bills you.

Which Disney bundles are changing?
The standalone increase does not apply uniformly to every package. The bundle rates below were reported by CBS News on September 23, 2026; Disney’s bundle page may update its offers over time.

What does “Premium” remove—and what does it not?
In the Disney+ and Hulu bundles, “Premium” means an ad-free Disney+ and Hulu experience. It does not mean every service in a bundle is ad-free: ESPN bundle listings still say ESPN includes ads, and Disney notes that ads may appear in select live and linear content. Check the plan’s service-by-service description rather than treating “Premium” as an across-the-board promise.

Compare what you will actually pay and watch, not just the bundle’s advertised discount. Disney says bundle savings are measured against buying each included service at its regular standalone monthly price. That comparison does not establish value if you would not otherwise subscribe to every service in the bundle.

- Total cost: Compare the monthly rate with the annual total where an annual option is available.
- Ads: Check the ad treatment for each included service, including live and linear programming.
- Included services: Decide whether you use Hulu, ESPN Select or Unlimited, or HBO Max enough to justify paying for them together.
- Renewal and billing: Check your Disney+ account or billing provider for your next charge and the rate that will apply.
Disney says a plan switch or cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. If you pay through a third party, confirm the timing and price with that billing source.
