Its most revealing details are visual: the video lets the mountains establish the mood before Ludmilla appears, then uses her red dress as a vivid counterpoint to the muted scenery.
A landscape that makes solitude visible
The video opens on the landscape rather than the singer. POPline’s frame-by-frame walkthrough notes a mountain view at 00:01 and another at 00:30; Ludmilla first appears at about 00:35. That pause gives the setting time to register as more than a backdrop.

The directors linked the location to the song’s breakup theme. Lucas Carneiro Neves said, “Queríamos que quando olhassem de primeira, vissem que era um lugar muito solitário, de deserto mesmo” (“We wanted people, at first glance, to see that it was a very solitary place, truly desert-like”). The original Portuguese is from the directors’ interview with POPline. Contemporaneous coverage identifies the filming location as Cajón del Maipo, in Chile’s Andes; Site RG’s July 14, 2015 report also says the video was filmed in Chile.
Why the red dress stands out
Against the subdued mountain palette, Ludmilla’s red dress becomes the video’s clearest visual accent. POPline calls attention to the dress at 00:41 and notes it moving in the wind around 01:34. That movement makes the outfit part of the landscape’s atmosphere, not just a costume detail.

The directors also described the cold as a production challenge that contributed to the look. Rafael Rocha said, “O frio foi ao mesmo tempo um ponto importante porque ele dava essa ambientação e deixava tudo ainda mais bonito” (“The cold was important at the same time because it created that atmosphere and made everything even more beautiful”). This is his account of the shoot, not a general description of the climate. POPline’s interview also recounts a temperature of 3 degrees as part of the filming conditions.
Small moments worth watching for
Several brief shots reinforce the contrast between the lone figure and the expansive setting. These timestamps are observations from POPline’s July 13, 2015 walkthrough, rather than claims about a hidden message or confirmed artistic intent.
Rank #2
- 01:18: A view over water briefly changes the landscape’s texture.
- 01:59: Ludmilla appears alone in a wide, quiet setting.
- 02:23: The long dress meets the practical difficulty of walking over rocks.
- 04:12: The video ends with Ludmilla as a small red figure against the mountains.
The same walkthrough describes a pose at 03:11 as reminiscent of Cristo Redentor and notes a dramatic expression at 03:17. Those are POPline’s playful observations; they are best taken as viewing prompts, not production facts.

The video premiered on July 13, 2015, in an exclusive debut reported by POPline. The song is associated with Ludmilla’s debut album, Hoje. The available reference account distinguishes the solo version used for the single and video from the album version featuring Belo, but that distinction is not necessary to read the video’s visual choices.
