La pieza se vinculó con el trabajo del Taller Biulú, en Juchitán, Oaxaca: Thelma Islas Lagunas y Crystel S. Martínez Torres estuvieron a cargo del diseño, Saúl Mosqueda de la confección y cuatro integrantes del taller realizaron el bordado.
Cómo era el atuendo del Grito 2026
El conjunto combinó una parte superior negra con flores bordadas en tonos rojos, rosas, morados, azules y verdes, y una falda negra. Sheinbaum lo llevó con la banda presidencial tricolor. Excélsior describe la falda como recta; La Razón la presenta como larga. Ambas coberturas coinciden en el conjunto negro con flores bordadas.
La presidenta llevó el cabello recogido en un chongo bajo y aretes pequeños de perla, según Excélsior. La Razón describe la parte superior como una blusa de manga larga cubierta de flores.

Excélsior indica que las flores se bordaron a mano con aguja de gancho, una técnica que describe como utilizada en el Istmo de Tehuantepec. La cobertura vincula el trabajo con Juchitán, Oaxaca, y con bordadoras y personas muxe zapotecas de la región.
Qué significaban las flores según una bordadora
Elvis Guerra, fundadora y bordadora del Taller Biulú, explicó a N+ que el diseño buscaba evocar los jardines que enseñaban las abuelas y describió el motivo como un “jardín con flores en tonos fríos como morado, púrpura, lila, rosa mexicano”. Es la explicación de Guerra sobre esta pieza, no una interpretación única de los motivos florales zapotecas.

Cómo se compara con el Grito de 2025
El acto de 2026 fue el segundo Grito de Independencia de Sheinbaum como presidenta. La Razón situó la ceremonia en el marco del 216 aniversario del inicio de la Independencia de México. Para su primer Grito como presidenta, en 2025, Sheinbaum llevó un vestido morado con bordado artesanal nahua de San Isidro Buen Suceso, Tlaxcala, según La Razón.
La comparación clara entre ambas prendas es el color y el diseño: el vestido morado de 2025 y el conjunto negro con flores multicolores de 2026. Las coberturas atribuyen a cada una una procedencia artesanal distinta; la pieza de 2026 se relaciona con el Taller Biulú, en Juchitán, no con la comunidad de Tlaxcala mencionada para 2025.
