Derek Hough announced Symphony of Dance: Encore, a 40-performance tour scheduled to travel across North America from June 24 to August 16, 2026. The published itinerary began in El Cajon, California, and ended in Las Vegas. The dates are the announced schedule; they do not independently confirm that every performance took place as planned.
What was announced
The November 11, 2025 announcement described Derek Hough Symphony of Dance: Encore as a summer 2026 dance production featuring ballroom, tap, salsa and hip-hop. Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo were named co-creators, directors and choreography leads. The announcement also promoted a live band and a cast of dancers. PEOPLE’s announcement, republished by Yahoo, called the production a 40-show run.
The announced itinerary covered 40 performances in the United States and Canada, with repeat-night engagements in Salt Lake City and Morristown. A later local article described the Morristown show as including modern dance as well as ballroom, tap, salsa and hip-hop; that account does not change the original announcement’s schedule. Discover Jersey Arts reported on the Morristown engagement on July 16, 2026.
Announced itinerary
The following dates and venues appeared in the November 11, 2025 announcement. They are presented as the published itinerary, not as independently verified completed performances.
