The official announcement put it this way: “These will be the only Dead & Company concerts at Sphere in 2025.” The 18-show run celebrated the band’s 10-year anniversary. Sphere Entertainment’s announcement described updated visuals and an immersive Sphere environment.

What did the residency offer fans?
Sphere’s visuals and sound
Sphere Entertainment described its LED display as wrapping up, over and around the audience, and said Sphere Immersive Sound was powered by HOLOPLOT. The company characterized the display as the “world’s highest resolution” and the sound system as the “world’s most advanced”; those are Sphere Entertainment’s descriptions, not independent measurements. The announcement referenced the earlier run’s four-hour concerts, but did not establish that every 2025 show had that runtime.
VIP hotel packages
Vibee was named the official VIP Concert & Hotel Package partner. The company described packages as including a concert ticket and a two- or three-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. It also said Vibee was the only way to obtain bundles covering all three shows in a weekend. These details describe the 2025 offer; current availability and terms are not established. The Venetian’s event page also listed doors at 6 p.m. and showtime at 7:30 p.m., and said outside food and beverages were not allowed.

Sphere Entertainment’s later 2026 filing said Dead & Company completed 48 shows at Sphere across 2024 and 2025. That combined figure includes the earlier engagement and the 18-show 2025 residency; it is not the count for 2025 alone. In its original residency announcement, Sphere Entertainment said the earlier 2024 run comprised 30 shows and drew nearly half a million attendees. The same announcement cited 10 U.S. tours and nearly five million fans across 300 shows as historical career figures; it did not separately specify the year of that underlying tally. Sphere Entertainment’s 2026 filing provides the later combined show count.
