Darth Jar Jar appeared in Fortnite’s 2025 GALACTIC BATTLE season, but official announcements about later Star Wars activities do not confirm that he is returning in a new event. Epic announced the character in April 2025 and brought his outfit and themed accessories to Fortnite’s in-game shop the following month.
When Darth Jar Jar appeared in Fortnite
Epic announced Fortnite: GALACTIC BATTLE on April 29, 2025, with the season beginning May 2. Darth Jar Jar was among the playable characters named for the Star Wars season.
On May 16, 2025, Epic announced that the Darth Jar Jar outfit and regular Jar Jar Binks outfit were in Fortnite’s shop. The Darth Jar Jar-themed items included the Terror of Naboo Wrap, Sith’s Electropole Pickaxe, and Crimson Booma Back Bling. Epic said those Darth Jar Jar items were available only through the shop inside Fortnite; they were digital in-game items, not physical merchandise.
Is Darth Jar Jar part of Fortnite’s next Star Wars event?
Not according to the official announcements reviewed. Epic and StarWars.com announced additional Star Wars activities for May 2026, but those announcements describe other experiences and rewards, not a new Darth Jar Jar event. That does not rule out an announcement after those sources were published; it means a return has not been established by them.

What Fortnite announced for May 2026
Epic’s April 30, 2026 announcement outlined creator-built islands, three games, weekly quests, and a watch-party island. StarWars.com’s May 1 coverage also described the activities and said eligible players could link Epic and MyDisney accounts through October 31, 2026 to unlock Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling. Neither announcement identifies Darth Jar Jar as part of the slate.
A separate Star Wars-related Fortnite experience
Epic announced Smugglers Gambit on August 15, 2026. It is a separate experience connected to Disney Parks’ Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run; the announcement does not establish it as a Darth Jar Jar event.
