What did Veruca Salt say?
PerthNow reported on July 4, 2023, that Salt—identified by the outlet as Kimberley Summer Hartley, a Gold Coast influencer born in New Zealand—had announced her pregnancy the previous month. In response to a fan asking, “Are you still doing OF now that you’re pregnant?”, Salt reportedly answered: “Yes, just bc I’m pregnant doesn’t mean I’m ugly.” PerthNow’s July 4, 2023 report attributes the reply to her Instagram Q&A. The original Instagram story is not independently archived in the sources reviewed.

Does the report show she continued throughout pregnancy?
No. The article documents what Salt said she was doing or intended to do when asked; it does not establish that she kept producing content for the rest of the pregnancy. Nor does it establish her current work. A later PerthNow report says Salt gave birth to twins on September 26, 2026, and published the update on September 29, 2026. It reports that she shared hospital images and named the twins Storm and Zion. Read PerthNow’s September 29, 2026 update.
What does pregnancy health guidance say?
General medical guidance cannot determine whether Salt’s specific work or circumstances were safe for her; the reports do not describe her individual health or whether she had pregnancy complications.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists says most sexual activity is safe in healthy pregnancies, while advising patients with complications or questions to consult an obstetrician. It recommends contacting an obstetrician for severe, persistent cramping or heavy bleeding after penetration. ACOG’s guidance on sex during pregnancy addresses sexual activity, not the physical demands or work conditions involved in creating adult content.
Mayo Clinic likewise says sex generally does not affect a pregnancy without health concerns, but clinicians may advise avoiding it in circumstances including vaginal bleeding, leaking amniotic fluid, early cervical opening, placenta previa, or a history of preterm labor. Mayo Clinic’s pregnancy guidance is general information, not an assessment of Salt.
