An ABC News report carried by the Australian Associated Press on January 13 quoted court-document language stating that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and that the parties were “restored to the status of being single.” The report also said a prenuptial agreement was treated as binding and included a confidentiality provision.

What is known about the reason for the breakup?
The contemporaneous accounts establish the engagement, marriage, separation announcement, request for privacy and divorce. They do not provide a verified private cause for the breakup.
