Juror No. 2 is a 2024 courtroom thriller directed by Clint Eastwood and written by Jonathan Abrams. Its central question is both legal and personal: what should a juror do when he realizes he may be connected to the death at the center of the trial? The film could be Eastwood’s final feature, but neither he nor the cast confirmed it as a farewell.

What is Juror No. 2 about?

Nicholas Hoult plays Justin Kemp, a family man serving on a high-profile murder jury. As the trial unfolds, Justin recognizes that he may have played a role in the incident that caused the death. His knowledge could affect whether the accused is convicted or freed, placing him between his duty as a juror and his private interest in what the jury decides. Warner Bros.’ film page describes Justin as confronting a serious moral dilemma.

At the same time, prosecutor Faith Killebrew, played by Toni Collette, pursues a new lead in the case. That investigation adds pressure to Justin’s already fraught position: the courtroom is weighing evidence about the accused while he weighs what to disclose about himself.

Who stars in the film?

Hoult and Collette lead an ensemble that includes J.K. Simmons, Chris Messina, Gabriel Basso, Zoey Deutch, Leslie Bibb, Cedric Yarbrough and Kiefer Sutherland. Eastwood directed the film from a screenplay by Jonathan Abrams. Warner Bros. lists the cast and creative credits on its official film page.

Is Juror No. 2 Clint Eastwood’s last movie?

That remains unconfirmed. In an October 2024 Associated Press interview, AP reported that Eastwood had not said publicly or privately that the film would be his last. Collette put the uncertainty plainly: “It’s nobody’s position to say this is his last movie.” The comments establish that a farewell had not been declared at the time; they do not establish whether Eastwood will direct another feature. Read the AP interview.

Eastwood said the script’s moral question was what drew him to it: “It made me think about what would you do if you were put in this situation? What is right? What is wrong? Who would you protect? A true moral dilemma. That’s something I’d want to watch.” The comment fits the film’s premise: the tension is not only whether the jury reaches the right verdict, but whether Justin will act responsibly when the evidence may implicate him.

When was it released, and where can you watch it?

Juror No. 2 premiered at AFI Fest on October 27, 2024, and opened in limited U.S. theaters on November 1, 2024. Warner Bros. announced a Max streaming debut for December 20, 2024, as well as a physical disc release. Those dates document the original rollout, not guaranteed current access in every country.

For U.S. viewers, Hulu’s listing offers an HBO Max add-on route to watch the film; its catalog and terms can change. Check the Hulu listing or the Max service in your region before subscribing. If you prefer a disc, Warner Bros. announced a home-video release, but current formats, retailer listings and stock need to be checked directly.
