Eran alegaciones atribuidas a Kim en documentos judiciales, no hechos establecidos por una corte. La cobertura posterior reportó que la pareja llegó a un acuerdo antes de una audiencia pública, pero no divulgó sus términos.
Qué alegó Han Jo Kim
People en Español informó el 27 de julio de 2021 que Kim pidió la anulación del matrimonio. Según la nota, Kim dijo que encontró un mensaje en una computadora doméstica en diciembre de 2020 y que solicitó el divorcio ese mes. La misma cobertura atribuyó a su demanda la afirmación de que la actividad que describía había comenzado antes de la boda y continuado durante el matrimonio. La nota no aporta una verificación independiente del expediente completo.
La cobertura también atribuyó a Kim afirmaciones sobre dinero en efectivo que supuestamente procedía de clientes, una herencia que Turner habría dicho haber recibido, salidas que él consideraba explicaciones falsas y una supuesta discrepancia sobre su educación. Son afirmaciones que Kim habría presentado en el marco de la disputa, no conclusiones judiciales. Las fuentes consultadas no acreditan que una corte confirmara las acusaciones.

- Casi 700.000 dólares: People en Español atribuyó a las alegaciones de Kim que Turner habría recibido esa cantidad de clientes desde 2015. La cifra no está confirmada como ingreso.
- 500.000 dólares: la misma nota atribuyó a Kim el relato de que Turner le habría hablado de una herencia de su bisabuela. La herencia no queda verificada por esa afirmación.
- 675.030 dólares en depósitos en efectivo: Fox News informó que documentos financieros atribuidos a Turner reflejaban depósitos por ese monto entre 2015 y 2021. Se trata de una cifra que la cobertura secundaria atribuyó a documentos; no es idéntica a la alegación redondeada de casi 700.000 dólares ni constituye por sí sola un hallazgo sobre el origen del dinero.
People en Español y Fox News son las fuentes de estas cifras. Las cantidades describen alegaciones o documentos resumidos por medios, no una determinación judicial sobre la veracidad de las acusaciones.
Quién es Regina Turner
People en Español identificó a Turner como exreina de belleza y señaló que fue coronada Miss Connecticut USA en 2011. Ese dato ofrece contexto biográfico; no confirma ni refuta las alegaciones presentadas durante la disputa matrimonial.

En qué terminó el caso
Fox News informó en julio de 2021, citando a Lucian Chalfen, portavoz de la Oficina de Administración de Tribunales del estado de Nueva York, que la pareja llegó a un acuerdo antes de una audiencia pública prevista para ese lunes. La cobertura no publicó las condiciones del acuerdo. Por ello, no es posible afirmar con estas fuentes qué términos aceptó cada parte ni que hubiera una decisión judicial sobre el fondo de las acusaciones.
