Christine Quinn’s husband, Christian Richard Dumontet—professionally known as Christian Richard—was arrested in Los Angeles on March 19, 2024, after a reported domestic incident at the couple’s Hollywood Hills home. Police were reported to have described the arrest as being on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. The allegations are not findings of guilt.
What was reported about the incident?
Contemporaneous reports said an LAPD spokesperson described a domestic dispute in which Dumontet allegedly threw a bag containing a glass bottle toward Quinn. According to the police account quoted by FOX 11, the bag missed Quinn and struck the couple’s child. FOX 11 reported that paramedics treated the child at the scene; Entertainment Tonight reported the child was taken to a hospital for further care.
These details describe allegations reported at the time, not a court’s determination of what happened.
What happened after the first arrest?
The Los Angeles Times reported that Dumontet was arrested again on March 20, 2024, on suspicion of violating an emergency protective order by returning to the home. The newspaper reported that he was released the following morning on bond.

What charges were reported?
In a May 2024 report, E! News said the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office filed three misdemeanor counts: child abuse/endangerment, assault, and violation of a protective order. Those reported filing counts are distinct from the initial arrest characterization of suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
An arrest and the filing of charges do not establish guilt. The final disposition of the criminal case has not been verified here, so no conclusion about its outcome or present status can be stated.
