Damon and Brady join Affleck as his bandmates; Lopez and Fat Joe react to the group’s performance, and Harlow gives Affleck a warning before the studio visit.
Who is in the Ben Affleck Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial?
Dunkin’s official upload names six celebrities in “The DunKings.” The brand’s campaign announcement describes their roles:
- Ben Affleck leads the story. He arrives at Jennifer Lopez’s recording session to pitch his pop-band act, the DunKings. Production company Artists Equity also credits Affleck as a director of the campaign work.
- Matt Damon is Affleck’s bandmate. Dunkin describes him as Affleck’s childhood friend and fellow Bostonian.
- Tom Brady is another bandmate. Dunkin frames his appearance as a Boston sports reference and points to his New England Patriots history.
- Jennifer Lopez is the recording artist whose studio the group enters; she reacts to their performance.
- Fat Joe is among the musical figures who critique the DunKings.
- Jack Harlow cautions Affleck before the studio visit.
Is Charli D’Amelio in the Super Bowl ad?
Charli D’Amelio belongs to the campaign’s earlier Grammy Awards segment, not the six-person list in the official Super Bowl upload title. Dunkin says she gives Affleck a dance lesson in the “Popstar” installment, which leads into the Super Bowl story with a “To Be Continued” transition. The brand presented the Super Bowl spot as the conclusion of that multi-part campaign.
What happens in “The DunKings”?
Affleck turns his Dunkin fandom and pop-star ambitions into an over-the-top boy-band pitch at Lopez’s recording session. Damon and Brady arrive as fellow DunKings, and the group performs “Don’t Dunk Away at My Heart.” Lopez and Fat Joe critique the act, while Harlow’s earlier warning sets up the studio visit. Artists Equity describes the episode as a “cultural clash” at the studio and lists its release date as February 11, 2024, with Affleck and Brandon Pierce (Beedy) as directors.
