Does it homage another battle manga?
The headline’s claim is not verified by the official chapter listings. The available secondary excerpt that repeats the headline is attributed to CBR author Russell Descourouez and appears in an IMDb news index dated August 23, 2024, but the excerpt does not name the alleged source manga or show evidence for a particular homage. That leaves readers without enough information to identify a definitive reference. Similar battle imagery or choreography can invite comparison, but resemblance alone does not establish a deliberate homage. A persuasive comparison would need to point to particular panels or sequences and explain what makes their composition, action, or narrative role distinctive. No statement from Fujimoto confirming an homage is established by the cited material.
