When did Balatro come to mobile?
Apple announced on September 5, 2024 that Balatro+ would join Apple Arcade on September 26. Playstack’s official release-trailer announcement also named September 26, 2024 for mobile availability through Apple Arcade, the App Store and Google Play. The “coming this month” wording in older coverage is therefore stale.

What is Balatro?
Balatro is a poker-inspired roguelike deck-builder. Players combine poker hands with Joker cards, each of which has its own ability, to create synergies and builds. The goal is to earn enough chips to beat the blinds and reach the final ante. Apple identifies LocalThunk as the solo developer and Playstack as publisher.
Which Apple devices were announced?
Apple listed iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro for Balatro+. That is Apple’s announced device list for the Arcade edition; it does not establish that every version or feature is identical across devices.

Is Balatro available on other platforms?
Yes. Nintendo’s official US listing identifies a separate digital edition for Nintendo Switch, published by Playstack, with a release date of February 20, 2024. That listing establishes a digital Switch release, not a physical cartridge.

No. Fangamer’s official product page describes an optional themed deck of 52 standard playing cards plus four Joker cards: Joker, Juggler, Blueprint and Gros Michel. It is merchandise, not a phone accessory or a requirement for playing the game.
