Bonnie Blue’s rise from ‘innocent wife’ to viral OnlyFans creator: what the $200,000-a-month claim says

The $200,000-a-month figure comes from a May 2024 profile, not a verified current income record. Later reports cite different claims and a move from OnlyFans to Fansly.

The “$200,000 a month” figure attached to Bonnie Blue comes from a PerthNow profile published on 29 May 2024. It is a dated, media-reported claim—not a verified current income figure. Later coverage reported different amounts, and Blue was subsequently reported to have been permanently banned from OnlyFans and to have moved to Fansly.

What the 2024 headline actually reported

PerthNow’s 29 May 2024 profile described Blue as a former wife and conventional employee who had become a viral OnlyFans creator. It reported that she was earning “up to $200,000 per month.” The article did not provide audited account statements or establish whether the amount was gross revenue, take-home income, or a recurring monthly run rate. The figure should therefore be read as a claim reported at that time, not as a verified measure of her finances today. PerthNow’s profile

How the profiles describe her path to OnlyFans

The “innocent wife to creator” framing is a media narrative, and profiles provide source-specific details rather than a single independently documented career timeline. PerthNow reported that Blue moved to Australia in 2021, married her former partner and held a conventional job. Glamour UK describes her pre-OnlyFans work as recruitment and says she first did cam work. Glamour UK’s profile

PerthNow attributed the appeal of Blue’s content to her description of it as “realistic and relatable,” adding that viewers could imagine themselves in those situations. The profile also quoted her describing her former lifestyle as a “period of disillusionment.” Those phrases explain how she and the article framed the change; they do not independently establish why audiences watched or how much the business earned.

Why later earnings figures do not verify the headline

Later stories reported other amounts, but they do not form a consistent, independently verified financial record. The Independent’s 30 July 2025 account of a Channel 4 documentary said Blue’s OnlyFans subscriptions brought in £8,000 in her first month and that she could later make more than £2 million a month. The Standard separately recounted claims made in the documentary, including a statement that she had made over £1 million that month. These are media reports of claims, not audited figures, and the currencies, periods and descriptions differ. The Independent’s documentary coverage · The Standard’s documentary coverage

A 25 September 2026 article by OnModelStudios, an agency that discloses its role in the creator industry, recounts three more figures Blue reportedly gave in early 2025 interviews or podcasts: $1 million a month to MailOnline in January; $2 million to $2.1 million on a “good month” on Camilla Araujo’s podcast in March; and $1.4 million for the preceding 30 days on the Pillowtalk Podcast later that month. OnModelStudios says it found no account screenshots accompanying those claims and cautions against treating a peak month as a recurring run rate. Its account is secondary industry analysis, not an audit. OnModelStudios’ earnings analysis

  • Date: The $200,000 figure belongs to a May 2024 profile; later figures were reported in 2025.
  • Attribution: The amounts are reported as claims made by Blue or repeated in media coverage, not as platform-origin records.
  • Basis: The reviewed sources do not establish a common gross-versus-net basis, a recurring run rate, or verified deductions.

The reviewed sources do not establish an audited income statement, a verified net worth, a documented revenue split, or current earnings. OnModelStudios also reports no post-ban Fansly earnings figure. That means these sources cannot substantiate a present-day income estimate; it does not prove that no documentation exists elsewhere.

What changed after the OnlyFans period

OnModelStudios reports that OnlyFans permanently banned Blue in June 2025 and that she moved to Fansly. The Standard also describes her as having moved to Fansly after the ban. The available coverage establishes this as the reported platform history, not as a basis for estimating what she now earns. It is therefore misleading to present the 2024 headline as current OnlyFans income. OnModelStudios’ account of the ban and platform move · The Standard’s documentary coverage

How the documentary coverage presents the controversy

Coverage of the Channel 4 documentary describes sharply different interpretations of Blue’s work: some frame it as empowerment and entrepreneurship, while others see it as degrading or harmful. The Independent says the documentary presents her account of autonomy and business alongside criticism. Its director, Victoria Silver, is quoted saying, “She’s incredibly ordinary behind the scenes.” Glamour UK reports concern that remarks attributed to Blue about women’s obligations in relationships could reinforce harmful expectations. These are attributed viewpoints, not a settled verdict about Blue, her audience, or sex work more broadly. The Independent · Glamour UK

The Standard quotes Blue in the documentary saying, “I knew I needed to be different because there are two million creators on OnlyFans, I needed a USP.” That is her statement as reproduced by the outlet, not an independently verified count of creators. The Standard
