Bruce Springsteen has said he and the E Street Band are planning to visit Australia “as soon as feasible,” but the statement was an expression of intent—not an Australian tour announcement. His October 2025 remarks included no dates, cities, venues or ticket information, and the “probably in the next year” estimate referred to that 2025 timeframe, not a current schedule.
Has Bruce Springsteen announced Australian tour dates?
No Australian dates are confirmed by the reports cited here. Rolling Stone Australia reported in October 2025 that Springsteen hoped to get to Australia and said the band was planning to do so “as soon as feasible.” The report did not identify a tour itinerary, promoter or ticket seller. The available reporting does not establish whether dates were announced after that statement, so check Springsteen’s official channels or an authorized Australian promoter or ticketing source for any later announcement.

What did Springsteen say about coming to Australia?
In an interview with Rolling Stone’s Andy Greene, Springsteen acknowledged Australian fans’ wish to see him. He said: “I’m doing my best as we speak to get down there, hopefully next year sometime. And I feel bad. I apologize to my Australian fans for not getting down on this stretch, but I want them to know that we are planning to get down there as soon as feasible, probably in the next year sometime.”
He made the remarks at AFI Fest in Los Angeles while promoting Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere. The wording conveys a wish and a plan to pursue a visit, but it does not confirm that concerts have been booked.

Does the “next year” comment mean Australia dates are due in 2026?
Not as a current schedule. Springsteen made the comment in 2025, so “probably in the next year sometime” was relative to that interview. It should not be treated as a live prediction or evidence of a 2026 Australian tour.
How does the E Street Tour fit into the comments?
Springsteen described the European summer shows then ahead as the official end of the 130-date E Street Tour. He said the band would likely play more often but do fewer dates in future. That was context for his answer about Australia, not a promise of an Australian leg.

The Associated Press later reported that Springsteen and the E Street Band announced a 20-date US tour in 2026. A US tour announcement does not establish that Australian shows have been scheduled.
When did Springsteen last play Australia?
Springsteen’s official website listed four Australian dates on the Wrecking Ball Tour in March 2013:

- Bruce Springsteen
- March 14: Brisbane
- March 18: Sydney
- March 24: Melbourne
- March 30: Hanging Rock, near Macedon
Those dates show that the band has toured Australia before; they are historical, not part of a current itinerary.

For confirmed shows, rely on information published by Springsteen’s official site, the promoter or an authorized Australian ticket seller. Check the announced cities and venues, concert dates, ticket seller and sale timing. Until such details are published, there is no confirmed Australian ticket sale to act on.
