Bloggers at Fall 2018 Fashion Week: Street-Style Highlights

Fashionista’s Fall 2018 New York street-style gallery explicitly identifies two bloggers: Rachel Nguyen of That’s Chic and Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What. They were part of a much broader crowd of people photographed around the shows, including editors, models, celebrities, and other fashion personalities. The galleries are curated selections—not a complete attendee list or a count of bloggers.

Which bloggers were at Fall 2018 Fashion Week?

The clearest blogger identifications come from Fashionista’s New York Fashion Week Fall 2018 gallery. Its captions name Rachel Nguyen of That’s Chic and Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What; Bernstein appears more than once in the gallery.

Fashionista also notes repeat appearances by Tamu McPherson and Shiona Turini in its New York favorites selection. Reese Blutstein and Alyssa Coscarelli are among the subjects named in both Fashionista’s New York coverage and Vogue’s gallery. Those appearances establish that they were photographed as street-style subjects; they do not, by themselves, establish that each was a blogger or document anyone’s invitation status.

Vogue’s New York street-style gallery describes photographer Phil Oh moving among neighborhoods and photographing models, editors, and celebrities between shows. The street-style scene was broader than bloggers alone.

What “Fall 2018 Fashion Week” covered

The phrase refers here to Fall 2018 Fashion Month across New York, London, Milan, and Paris—not to one show or one city. Fashionista’s March 9, 2018 recap says the month had wrapped after more than four weeks of shows across those four cities: “The 51 Best Street Style Looks From Fall 2018 Fashion Month”.

Published galleries offer selected views of people outside the shows, rather than an official roll call. Fashionista describes its New York roundup as 45 favorite looks and its London roundup as 45 selected images. Those are editorial selections, not totals for attendees or bloggers.

Street-style details across the cities

Different publications emphasized different details in their selections. These are editorial descriptions, not a controlled comparison of everyone attending.

City What the coverage highlighted Source
New York Vogue’s seasonal preview anticipated statement outerwear, combat boots, vibrant scarves, and other accessories for snowy, slushy weather. This is a preview, not a measured tally of what people wore. Vogue
London Fashionista’s selected looks highlighted all-red outfits, classic trench coats, and shiny leather pants and jackets. Fashionista
Milan W Magazine’s gallery headline called out tearaway pants and varsity jackets; its captions place street-style photography around the Milan shows on dated February days. The headline is an editorial characterization, not proof those pieces dominated. W Magazine

One documented outfit detail

Vogue’s caption identifies Reese Blutstein “in an Esteban Cortazar coat with a Loewe bag.” It is an image caption, not a quotation from Blutstein. The caption documents the pictured combination; it does not establish current availability of either item.

What the galleries can—and cannot—tell you

  • They identify particular photographed subjects and show selected street-style looks across Fashion Month.
  • Fashionista’s New York captions provide the explicit blogger labels for Nguyen and Bernstein.
  • The selection counts published by Fashionista describe gallery contents, not the size or composition of the crowds.
  • The cited coverage does not establish a complete blogger roster, attendance totals, invitation status, compensation, or a numerical measure of bloggers’ influence.
