Where should the CM Punk–Seth Rollins feud end? A major event would give this personal, long-running rivalry the clearest sense of a definitive payoff. But “cannot end on Raw” is a booking argument, not a confirmed WWE plan: Raw has hosted major matches, and the available public sources do not establish that the feud must conclude elsewhere.
Why the rivalry feels unfinished
WWE was already presenting Punk and Rollins as unresolved adversaries in December 2024. In its December 16 Raw coverage, WWE wrote that Punk was pursuing the championship picture but had “unfinished business” with Rollins. The same page described Rollins as having frequently called Punk out and noted Punk’s “second-stringer” jab in an interview with Jackie Redmond. That is a public, on-screen conflict built through provocation, not simply a match announced without context. WWE’s December 16, 2024 coverage
Two weeks later, WWE promoted a final face-to-face before the pair’s main-event match at the Raw Netflix premiere, calling them “bitter enemies.” That language reflects WWE’s promotional framing; it does not, by itself, establish the nature of their private relationship. What Rollins has said about the personal history
In a Complex interview published March 4, 2026, Rollins described lingering resentment tied to Punk’s departure from WWE and the tension that followed. He also said he worked with Punk because he was a professional and believed their work could engage fans. Asked whether he felt Punk had changed, Rollins answered, “The jury is still out on that.” The answer conveys unresolved feeling from Rollins’s perspective, but it is not a WWE announcement about a future feud or match. Rollins also said, “At the end of the day, it’s not my sandbox,” in the context of explaining that he had a job to do and would do it professionally. That distinction matters: personal history may inform how a rivalry is performed, but it does not mean either wrestler controls the booking or that every promo should be read as a direct statement of private intent.
Why a major event could be the stronger finish
The case for saving a conclusive Punk–Rollins match for a Premium Live Event or another major special is about what the setting can communicate. A high-profile card can make a final encounter feel like the culmination of a sustained story rather than one more episode in a weekly sequence. It also offers room to build anticipation, give the match a prominent place, and frame the result as a meaningful turning point.

- Build-up: A major event gives WWE a clear destination toward which the conflict can escalate.
- Perceived finality: A designated special can signal that the match is meant to settle the central issue, rather than merely continue it.
- Time and prominence: A headline-level slot can give the match the attention and space its history calls for.
- Story fit: The audience and stakes can be presented as commensurate with a rivalry WWE has described as unfinished and bitter.
Those are booking judgments, not reported WWE production decisions. No source cited here confirms where or when the wrestlers will next meet.
Could the feud still end on Raw?
Yes. Raw is not inherently incapable of hosting a decisive ending, and the Netflix premiere itself was promoted as the setting for a Punk–Rollins main event. Ending the story on television could also deliver a more immediate payoff or make an unexpected result feel startling. The question is not whether Raw is important enough in the abstract; it is whether WWE gives the ending sufficient build, time, and narrative consequence.

There is a useful distinction between a match and a conclusion. A bout on Raw could settle the feud if the story clearly establishes what is at stake and treats the result as final. Conversely, putting the match on a major event would not guarantee closure if the finish immediately opened another chapter. The venue helps signal intent; the booking has to deliver it.

WWE’s recap of Raw on March 2, 2026, centered on Punk’s confrontation with Roman Reigns and reported Rollins attacking Paul Heyman. It did not document a Punk–Rollins confrontation on that episode. That is a snapshot of the featured events on one dated show, not proof that WWE has ended the rivalry, abandoned it, or settled on a future venue. WWE’s March 2, 2026 Raw results

- Each figure features highly detailed TrueFX technology for life-like facial features!

- WWE fans can find a favorite Superstar figure or can collect them all (each sold separately, subject to availability).
Based on the dated material available through March 2026, the strongest argument is therefore editorial: a major event seems the more fitting destination for a definitive Punk–Rollins payoff, but the claim that the feud “cannot” end on Raw goes beyond what the public evidence establishes.
