Yes. GeekWire reported that Jeff Bezos rode a horse into Kemo Sabe, a Western apparel store in Aspen, Colorado, on New Year’s Eve 2018. The article, published January 2, 2019, described him tipping his cowboy hat after entering.
What happened at Kemo Sabe?
GeekWire’s Kurt Schlosser reported that Bezos rode a horse into the Aspen store on New Year’s Eve, shortly before the report appeared on January 2, 2019. The article described Bezos wearing a puffy snow jacket and blue jeans, then tipping his cowboy hat inside.
Kemo Sabe’s Instagram caption, reproduced in the GeekWire report, said: “Now that’s how you make an entrance!” and that Bezos “looked pretty damn good on a horse.” The video was attributed to the store’s Instagram account.
What was the horse’s name?
GeekWire relayed details from Page Six, which reported that the horse was named Bean and was hitched outside the store. GeekWire also said Page Six reported that Bezos was friends with Kemo Sabe owner Tom Yoder. These details are attributed to Page Six, rather than presented as information independently confirmed by GeekWire.

Was Bezos shopping or endorsing the store?
The report says Bezos’s brother Mark was also photographed on the horse inside the store. It does not establish that Bezos bought anything at Kemo Sabe, identify the brand or model of his hat, or describe the appearance as an endorsement.
What was Bezos’s role at Amazon then?
The 2019 GeekWire headline referred to Bezos as Amazon’s CEO at the time. That is historical context for the article, not a statement about his current role.
