Netflix unveiled the first footage and character photos for Bridgerton Season 3 on 14 February 2024. The season has since premiered in two parts: episodes 301–304 arrived on 16 May 2024, and episodes 305–308 on 13 June 2024.
When did Bridgerton Season 3 come out?
Netflix announced the release schedule during its global Valentine’s Day fan event with Shondaland on 14 February 2024. Both premiere dates are in the past.

What is Season 3 about?
The story centers on Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. Penelope sets out to find a husband who will respect her independence and allow her to keep living a double life as Lady Whistledown. Colin returns from summer travel with renewed confidence and offers to help her build her own. As their relationship changes, he must reckon with whether his feelings for Penelope are more than friendship.

Penelope’s estrangement from Eloise complicates her social plans and makes protecting her secret more difficult. The season adapts elements of Julia Quinn’s novel Romancing Mr. Bridgerton. Netflix’s official synopsis and episode guide describe the season’s premise. The episode list includes “Romancing Mister Bridgerton,” using “Mister” in the title.
What did Netflix reveal in the first look?
The 14 February fan event included first-look footage, exclusive character photos, episode titles and a one-minute clip from the premiere. The confirmed hand-wrapping scene is a notable moment for readers of Quinn’s book: Penelope tends to Colin after he cuts his hand.

How does Season 3 approach the romance?
At the official fan event, executive producer Shonda Rhimes noted that the central couple is already familiar to viewers: “Usually we’re meeting a new person who’s falling in love with one of our regulars,” she said. “But this time, we know the people who are falling in love. We’re already rooting for them because we already know them, and I’m excited for that.”

In a 2025 World Book Day article, Netflix reported that sales of Romancing Mr. Bridgerton increased 302% in the 30 days after Part 1.
