Yhwach is the strongest Quincy in Bleach overall. He founded the Quincy order, leads the Wandenreich and used Auswählen to regain strength, according to the official Thousand-Year Blood War character guide. The rest of this list is an editorial ranking, not an official canon power scale: the story gives its strongest fighters different abilities and matchups, and the official material does not compare them in a numbered order.
Spoilers: This ranking discusses developments from the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.
How this Quincy ranking works
The order weighs demonstrated scope of ability, threat to opponents, resilience or adaptation, and consequential battle performance. It is a reasoned comparison, not a mathematical score. A character whose ability depends on unusual conditions may be a dangerous matchup even when another fighter appears stronger by broader measures.
The official character guide establishes roles and affiliations for several candidates, while the official episode 36 synopsis offers specific battle details for Lille and Pernida. Those sources do not settle every placement below, so ranks outside the top spot should be read as an editorial order rather than a definitive canon verdict.

The 10 strongest Quincy in Bleach
-
Yhwach
Yhwach takes the top spot as the founder of the Quincies and leader of the Wandenreich. The official character guide also says he used Auswählen to regain strength. These facts establish his extraordinary position in the Quincy hierarchy, though the official source does not publish a formal strength ranking.
-
Jugram Haschwalth
Jugram is the Stern Ritter commander, Yhwach’s aide and a figure considered his successor in the official profile. That combination makes him a natural choice for the highest place beneath Yhwach in this editorial ranking. The profile supports his status, not a conclusive number-two comparison with every other Quincy.

-
Uryu Ishida
The official guide describes Uryu as one of the last remaining Quincy descendants and a Stern Ritter with Schrift “A.” His place near the top reflects his importance and exceptional standing in the story; the available official profile does not directly compare his strength with Jugram’s.
-
Gerard Valkyrie
Gerard is identified as both a Stern Ritter and a member of the Royal Guard. That makes him one of the central high-tier Quincy candidates, but membership alone does not quantify his power or prove a precise position relative to the other Royal Guard.

-
Lille Barro
Lille is another Royal Guard member. In the official episode 36 synopsis, conventional attacks appear to have no effect against him after he unleashes Voll Stern Dich, forcing Shunsui to make a desperate move. That explicit account of resistance makes Lille a particularly formidable candidate, while leaving his exact placement open to interpretation.
-
Pernida Parnkgjas
Pernida’s Royal Guard status is paired with a specific adaptation feat in the same episode 36 synopsis: Pernida transforms and evolves during battle by absorbing information. The ability to change in response to a fight makes Pernida a severe matchup threat, though the synopsis does not rank Pernida against the other Royal Guard.

Askin Nakk Le Vaar
The official character guide says Askin becomes a Royal Guard member during the Royal Palace invasion. That promotion supports placing him among the elite Quincy, but the source does not provide a direct strength comparison or enough detail to establish his exact position in this countdown.
-
Gremmy Thoumeaux
Gremmy is included as a plausible contender for the final places in a top-ten list. The official sources cited here do not provide enough comparative feat detail to justify a more confident rank, so this slot is the most tentative in the countdown.

-
Royd Lloyd
Royd is another plausible candidate for the lower end of this list, but the official materials cited here do not establish a detailed feat-based comparison with Gremmy or Bazz-B. His precise position should therefore be treated as provisional.
-
Bazz-B
Bazz-B rounds out the list as a credible high-level Quincy candidate. The sources cited for this ranking do not provide enough evidence to make his inclusion or exact order definitive; the cutoff reflects an editorial selection rather than a canon top ten.
Why the middle of the list is debatable
Several characters have titles or affiliations that signal narrative importance, but those labels are not interchangeable with a direct strength measurement. A Royal Guard position, Stern Ritter command or Schrift letter can help establish a character’s standing; it cannot, by itself, settle who wins a fight.
Matchups also complicate a simple ladder. Lille’s apparent resistance to conventional attacks and Pernida’s in-battle evolution point to distinct kinds of threat. A fighter’s chances can depend on whether an opponent can meet the conditions of an unusual ability, withstand it or adapt. For that reason, the order from Jugram through the final slots is best understood as a useful editorial comparison, not an official ranking.
