The final 2025 update set BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War’s fourth and final cour, The Calamity, for July 2026. As of October 8, 2026, it has already begun streaming: VIZ lists the final two subtitled episodes for October 19 and 26. Here’s what the 2025 announcement said, how the later schedule developed, and where availability has been announced.
What did the final 2025 update reveal?
The official anime site announced on December 21, 2025, that the final cour would be titled BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity and would air on TV Tokyo and other networks in July 2026. The notice also unveiled a teaser visual. Read the official announcement.
That December notice followed a shorter Shueisha announcement on July 8, 2025. Shueisha had confirmed that the fourth cour was scheduled for 2026, but gave no month. The July update therefore established the year; the December update added the title and July broadcast window. Shueisha’s July 2025 notice.
When did Part 4 premiere, and what is the current schedule?
The July 2026 window was later narrowed for the US premiere. VIZ announced that The Calamity would premiere on July 25, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. PDT. Its August 28 watch guide describes the series as streaming weekly and lists October 19 and October 26, 2026, for the final two subtitled episodes. Those are the dates in VIZ’s guide as of October 8; schedules can change. VIZ’s premiere announcement and VIZ’s watch guide.

Where can you watch The Calamity?
Availability depends on territory and language. VIZ names Hulu for the United States and Disney+ in select international markets. Its guide also gives subtitle and dub information by region, so check the listing for your location rather than assuming one platform or language option applies everywhere. Platform availability and schedules are subject to change.

The official Japanese product page lists a Part IV Blu-ray/DVD edition for February 10, 2027. The listing says the set contains episodes 41–50 across two discs; that is a statement about this product’s contents, not a separate announcement of the cour’s episode count. The page names Amazon.co.jp among retailers for specified Amazon.co.jp-limited products and bonuses. That does not establish that the same edition, bonus, price, or stock is available in other regions. See the official Part IV product listing.
