What is the connection between Marshall and Billie Joe Armstrong?
Marshall’s announcement on 25 September 2024 said the company and Armstrong joined forces to launch the Monitor III A.N.C. wireless headphones. The campaign presented Armstrong, Green Day’s frontman, in a story about finding harmony in chaos and music’s ability to bring people together. Armstrong summed up his relationship with music this way: “If you know anything about me then you know that for me, the music never turns off.” Read Marshall’s announcement.
The campaign is a product-launch collaboration; it does not, by itself, establish that Armstrong designed or technically evaluated the headphones.
What are the Monitor III A.N.C. headphones?
The Monitor III A.N.C. is Marshall’s over-ear wireless headphone, with active noise cancellation and a Transparency mode that lets ambient sound through. Its listed features combine long claimed battery life with wireless controls and audio options:

Marshall says it revised the acoustic design to improve sound, ANC, transparency and voice calls. That is the manufacturer’s description, not an independent measurement of performance. See Marshall’s product specifications.
How long does the battery last with ANC?
Marshall rates the Monitor III A.N.C. for up to 70 hours of wireless playback with ANC on and 100 hours with ANC off. It also lists a 15-minute quick charge for up to 12 hours of playback. These are manufacturer specifications; actual runtime can vary with volume, settings, connection and use.

What did the headphones cost at launch, and what is the listed US price?
Marshall’s September 2024 launch announcement listed a UK price of £299 and said availability began on 24 September 2024 through Marshall.com and select retailers. Marshall’s US headphone collection lists black and cream Monitor III A.N.C. models at $379.99. Are the Monitor III A.N.C. worth buying?
The listed specifications make the headphones worth considering if you want over-ear ANC, a transparency mode, multipoint connectivity and a long manufacturer-rated battery life. Whether they are a good choice depends on how well their sound, noise cancellation, call quality and fit work for you, and whether the price suits your budget.

The available performance evidence here is from Marshall. Its acoustics engineer Nicolas Pignier Delafontaine said the design was revised across sound, ANC, transparency and voice calls, but there are no independent lab measurements or comparative results to establish how the headphones perform against alternatives. Consider hands-on listening and independent testing before treating the specifications as proof of superior sound or noise cancellation.

Marshall says authorised repair services and spare parts are offered through its website, with eligibility varying by market. The company also states that 66% of the product’s plastic is recycled, based on its own material accounting. These are manufacturer claims; check local repair eligibility and the product page for the applicable details.
