She said a DoorDash driver left a broken glass bottle on her porch in the dark, and that she cut her middle finger on it. A photo she shared appeared to show a broken Schweppes tonic-water bottle, but the report did not independently confirm the product or the contents of the order.

Did Hudson need stitches?
Hudson said the cut required stitches, according to the report. Us Weekly did not independently verify the injury or medical treatment, so the stitches should be understood as part of her account rather than a confirmed medical detail.

Us Weekly reported that Hudson complained customer support apologized and refunded her $73.22 in DoorDash credits. The outlet also quoted a DoorDash spokesperson, whose name and role were not specified beyond spokesperson: “We believe every customer deserves VIP treatment, no matter who they are, and we let Jordon down. No one should go through this, and we’re horrified Jordon was hurt. We’re reaching out to Jordon directly to help make things right.”

Was the complaint later resolved?
The report does not confirm whether DoorDash contacted Hudson after the spokesperson’s statement or whether the company offered any further remedy.
