Her 2026 updates described ongoing therapy and progress bending the finger, while a later report said she was dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. A confirmed WWE return date has not been verified as of October 8, 2026.
What happened to Bianca Belair’s finger?
Belair competed against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41 in April 2025. A later report reproduced her account that Ripley landed on her hand as they came off the top rope, crushing her finger. Belair said she broke a knuckle and joint.
In an interview with BET 106 & Sports, quoted by The Sportster, Belair said she had initially expected recovery to take “8 to 12 weeks,” but that nearly six months had passed. That was her expectation in 2025, not a current recovery estimate or medical prognosis.

Fightful reported that Belair shared a video of finger therapy on Instagram Stories. Her caption read: “One thing about being pregnant…it’s really given me time to get my finger better!!! We are still on therapy and We are bending!” This is her description of her progress and circumstances, not clinical guidance.

A June 9, 2026 report by NDTV said WWE had not announced when Belair would return to television or competition at that time. The later health updates cited here do not establish whether WWE subsequently announced a date. As of October 8, 2026, a confirmed return date has not been verified, so a specific date or recovery forecast would be speculation.
Belair’s pregnancy should not be treated as a medical explanation for the injury or as evidence of when she will return. In her June post, she said the additional time had given her an opportunity to work on her finger.
