What is Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League about?
DC describes the film as a continuation of Batman Ninja. After Batman and the Batman Family return to present-day Gotham from the warring-states period, they discover that Japan has disappeared. A giant island called Hinomoto is suspended above the city, and Yakuza descend to attack. The Justice League is missing, so Batman investigates an energy reaction and finds a world ruled by the Yakuza League, a group of super-powered figures resembling the Justice League. Anime Trending reported the teaser reveal on July 4, 2024, alongside the unveiling of a main visual. That was not the same release as the later studio trailer: Warner Bros.
