Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition also came to Netflix in 2023, but its current availability is not confirmed by Netflix’s catalog page dated September 9, 2026. Check your Netflix app and your device’s app store before expecting to download it.
Netflix says members can access more than 120 mobile games, included with membership without ads, extra fees, or in-app purchases. Availability and compatibility can vary, so the strongest recommendation depends on what your device and profile can access.

Dead Cells: Netflix Edition — best confirmed current action pick
Netflix’s current listing identifies Dead Cells: Netflix Edition as a single-player action game. It can be played offline, supports controllers, and has a 13+ rating. The listed minimums are Android 8 or later and iOS 15 or later. Netflix’s broader guidance recommends Android 9 and iOS/iPadOS 17 for the best overall experience; those are general recommendations, not this game’s stated minimums.
One important drawback: this edition does not use cloud saves. Netflix Help says uninstalling the game or playing on another device means starting again from the beginning. If you regularly switch phones or expect to reinstall, factor that in before choosing it. Netflix names Playdigious as the developer.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition — notable, but check current access
Netflix announced in November 2023 that GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas, adapted for mobile, would arrive on December 14, 2023. The launch announcement covered Netflix members using the App Store, Google Play, and the Netflix mobile app.
Netflix’s catalog page dated September 9, 2026 lists Dead Cells: Netflix Edition but not GTA. That does not establish when GTA may have left the catalog or whether it is unavailable in every region. Treat it as a historical Netflix inclusion unless it appears in your current in-app catalog or app store.

How to choose a Netflix mobile game
- Play style: Start with the genre and whether you want a solo experience; Dead Cells is listed as single-player action.
- Connectivity: Check whether the specific game supports offline play. Dead Cells does; this does not establish offline support for the rest of the catalog.
- Controls: Dead Cells supports controllers, but Netflix does not require one. Compatibility with a particular controller and phone was not established.
- Device and rating: Compare the game’s minimum operating system and maturity rating with your device and Netflix profile settings.
- Saves: If you may change devices or reinstall, look for the game’s save policy. Dead Cells: Netflix Edition has no cloud saves.
How to find and install Netflix games
You need an active Netflix membership, a compatible device, enough storage, and an internet connection to download and install a game. Netflix says its mobile games are available on Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, though compatibility varies by title.
- Open the Netflix app and find the Games row or a game shortcut. Alternatively, search for the game directly in Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Select the game and follow the prompt to install it from the relevant app store.
- Open the installed game and sign in with your Netflix account if prompted; choose the profile you want to use.
If a game does not appear, Netflix says the device may be incompatible or the selected profile’s maturity setting may be below the game’s rating. The game may also have title-specific requirements beyond Netflix’s general device guidance.

What was included with Dead Cells: Netflix Edition?
At launch, Netflix said the Netflix Edition included the original game’s free and paid downloadable content at no extra cost. That is a launch-era description of this edition; it should not be read as a statement about current terms for other versions of Dead Cells. Netflix also says games in its membership catalog are separate from versions released by publishers or developers, so do not assume progress transfers between editions.
