But no official production explanation for Colin’s non-return is established in the available sources; Daisy’s account explains how she experienced the reunion, not every participant’s motives.
Why Daisy said returning felt easier without Colin
In an interview published October 7, 2024, ahead of Season 5, Daisy described the Season 4 reunion as bringing back conflict that had seemed amicable. “The reunion, which was close to the filming of the new season really resurfaced everything,” she told TV Insider.
Asked whether Colin’s absence made returning easier, Daisy said it did: she felt that having both Colin and Gary aboard would have been harder. She also described feeling “quite ganged up on during the reunion.” Those are Daisy’s descriptions of her own experience, not independently verified accounts of what other cast members intended.
What the Season 5 finale shows
Bravo lists “The Bitter End” as Season 5, Episode 16, and gives its air date as January 27, 2025. The official episode synopsis says the crew says goodbye after a heated final night and describes Daisy balancing “past and present” as she considers her attraction to Gary and Keith. That synopsis establishes what the finale depicts; it does not explain the production decision behind Colin’s absence.

What Daisy said about Colin after the season
In a February 20, 2025 report, Daisy said she had not spoken to Colin “in a very, very, very long time,” and added, “I hope he’s good.” Bravo’s report is a dated update from after the season, not confirmation of their relationship status today. Bravo’s news index includes later coverage of Daisy and Colin, but does not settle their current status.
Why Colin did not return remains unconfirmed
Daisy’s interview confirms Colin was not aboard for Season 5 and gives her perspective on what that meant for her return. The available sources do not identify an official casting decision or production reason for his absence. It would therefore be misleading to present the reunion or the end of a relationship as the definitive explanation.
