Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, the 2025 sequel to Batman Ninja, brings Batman’s wider circle into the fight: Robin, Red Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood, with Alfred Pennyworth and James Gordon alongside them. Their opponents are a superpowered group modeled on the Justice League, setting up a clash that takes Batman and his allies into a Japan transformed above Gotham.
Which Batman allies join the sequel?
The sequel expands its focus beyond Batman to the Bat-family. Warner Bros. Japan’s announcement says, “The Batman Family including Robin, Red Robin, Nightwing, and Red Hood, along with allies like Alfred Pennyworth and James Gordon are all assembled!” The studio describes their approach as one built on “wisdom, gadgets, and teamwork” against a stronger and faster enemy. Warner Bros. Japan’s film site presents the film and its cast.

What is the Yakuza League?
Warner Bros.’ preview sets the Bat-family against the Yakuza League, a superpowered group resembling the Justice League. The premise shifts Batman and his allies into an altered Japan: when they return to the present, they discover Japan has disappeared and an island called Hinomoto is suspended above Gotham. The Yakuza League holds sway there. Warner Bros. Entertainment’s official preview introduces the setup.
The sequel’s hook is therefore twofold: Batman’s allies share the anime adventure, and the familiar Justice League idea is reworked as a rival group in a strange new setting.
