How the farewell unfolded
Procession from the airport

Public tributes and the final rites
Before the procession to Kamarkuchi, Garg’s body had been kept at Guwahati’s Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex. Reports described thousands at the complex and at the cremation site. These are location-specific descriptions across a multi-stage farewell; the cited accounts do not establish one independently verified total for everyone who attended or lined the route.
