The trailer for Bastar: The Naxal Story was reported released on March 5, 2024. It reunites director Sudipto Sen and actor Adah Sharma after The Kerala Story, with producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah also returning. In the film, Sharma plays IPS officer Neerja Madhavan, who confronts Maoists; that is the movie’s dramatic premise, not independent confirmation of its political or security claims.
