Because wording can differ between the manga, anime subtitles, and dub—and between translation editions—there is no reliable, source-verified English “best quotes” list to reproduce here. The official pages surfaced for this topic confirm dialogue on merchandise, but do not provide the scene context or licensed English wording needed to attribute those lines accurately.
Why there is no verified English quote list here
Bakugo is a character in My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi’s manga series. Shueisha’s official series page identifies the series, while Yomiuri TV has an official character profile. Those sources establish who the subject is; they do not establish a ranked collection of his best English lines with chapter or episode citations.

Shueisha’s Jump Characters Store lists Bakugo merchandise, including stickers that reproduce dialogue. The official anime goods page for a Bakugo figure likewise includes Japanese dialogue in its product description. These are merchandise excerpts, not scene transcripts: neither establishes where a line occurs in the story or supplies an official English rendering. Translating the Japanese text independently and presenting it as a published English quote would risk misattribution.
How to verify Bakugo quotes before sharing them
- Choose the source edition. For manga wording, use the licensed English edition available from VIZ Media. For anime wording, identify whether the line comes from subtitles or the English dub; they may not match each other or the manga.
- Check the line in context. Confirm the exact wording and punctuation in that edition, then record the chapter or episode. A merchandise quote alone is not enough to identify a scene.
- Attribute the medium and translation. Label a line as manga, subtitle, or dub and name the edition when possible. This lets readers distinguish translation choices rather than treating every English version as interchangeable.
- Describe the scene without overstating it. Explain what is happening around the line and why it stands out. If a chapter or episode reference has not been checked against the licensed source, do not guess.
What makes a quote worth remembering
A useful guide to the best Katsuki Bakugo quotes would do more than collect forceful lines. It would connect each line to its scene, show what it reveals about Bakugo’s attitude or development, and make clear whether the wording comes from the manga or a particular anime translation. Without those checks, a quote list can sound confident while mixing editions, losing context, or assigning a line to the wrong moment.

#1 Best Overall
- MHA Fandom: Midoriya inherits the superpower of the world’s greatest hero, but greatness won’t come easy.
- Includes: The first 20 volumes of the bestselling My Hero Academia manga.
- Format: Softcover, 3840 pages.
For readers who want to trace the character’s dialogue directly, the licensed manga is the textual authority for its own wording; the anime’s licensed subtitle or dub track is the authority for that adaptation. A quote should be attributed to the version actually consulted.
