The original Baldur’s Gate 3 Funko Pop trio features Astarion with a dagger, Shadowheart holding the Artifact, and Karlach with her battleaxe and teddy bear, Clive. Astarion also had a launch-era Chase variant with a book instead of the dagger. Funko’s collection has since expanded, so newer editions such as Selûnite Shadowheart and other Astarion variants are separate figures—not replacements for the original trio.
How the original three figures differ
The most useful way to tell the original releases apart is by their character-specific accessories. GameSpot’s October 16, 2024 launch coverage described the trio as follows:
| Character | Original figure detail | Variant or included extra |
|---|---|---|
| Astarion | Holding a dagger | A reported Chase version replaces the dagger with a book. GameSpot reported a one-in-six chance at launch; that historical odds figure does not guarantee what a present-day listing or purchase will contain. |
| Shadowheart | Holding the mysterious Artifact | This is the original Shadowheart design, distinct from the later Selûnite edition. |
| Karlach | With a two-handed battleaxe | Includes a miniature of her teddy bear, Clive. |
These are documented character and accessory differences, not a hands-on quality ranking. The available product descriptions do not establish which figure is best made or most detailed.
What changed in Funko’s Baldur’s Gate collection
Funko’s official Baldur’s Gate collection page has expanded beyond the original trio. Its current assortment page shows 11 Pop! results: Dark Urge, Dame Aylin, Astarion (Vampire Ascendant), Astarion (Shirtless), Astarion (Bloody), Raphael (Cambion Devil), Jaheira, The Emperor, Wyll, Gale, Lae’zel, and Karlach with Clive. The page labels some figures as retail, web, or convention exclusives.

Selûnite Shadowheart is a separate limited edition
Funko’s Pop! Selûnite Shadowheart with Pop! Protector listing describes a distinct edition, not the original Shadowheart holding the Artifact. Funko says 1,500 were made; the figure is approximately 4.3 inches (10.9 cm) tall and arrives pre-packaged in a UV Premium Plastic Pop! Protector. The listing identifies the box sticker as 2026 Emerald City Comic Con and gives item number 93690 and box number 1175.

Astarion has additional variants
The current Funko assortment includes Bloody, Shirtless, and Vampire Ascendant Astarion figures in addition to the original dagger design and its reported Chase book variant. Funko’s UK Astarion (Shirtless) page identifies that figure as a retailer exclusive and gives its height as approximately 4.3 inches (10.9 cm). At the time observed, the UK listing showed low stock at £16 and named Amazon UK, Empik, and Reflexshop as other sellers. Those details apply to that regional listing at that time; they do not establish availability or price elsewhere.

What launch coverage can—and cannot—tell buyers now
GameSpot reported on October 16, 2024, that the original trio was available for preorder at Amazon, GameStop, and Entertainment Earth, with launch-era prices of $12–$13 and retailer-specific expected dates spanning December 2024 to January 2025. ComicBook.com’s October 17, 2024 coverage said Amazon had sold out of all three at that time. These are dated launch snapshots, not evidence of current stock, prices, release timing, or the authenticity of any present marketplace listing.
If you are comparing listings, check the exact character and edition name, the pictured accessory, and whether any protector is included. A dagger and book distinguish the reported original Astarion and Chase designs; the Artifact identifies the original Shadowheart; and Clive is the extra included with Karlach. A current product page or seller listing is necessary to confirm what is actually being offered.
