“I said, essentially, if I’m scratching your back, you have to scratch mine, too,” she said. She considered that an appearance could be a big deal, but questioned its value to her if she did not expect to find a relationship there.
Why she was unsure about appearing
She did not expect to leave in a relationship
Kirkconnell said, “I really didn’t think I would leave in a relationship.” That doubt put her at odds with the show’s romantic premise: she was not convinced that going on Bachelor in Paradise would lead to the outcome viewers might expect.

She had reservations about dating within Bachelor Nation
She also said she was unsure about dating someone in Bachelor Nation and did not think she would do it again. Her comments were reservations, not an announcement that she would never consider the show.
Was Kirkconnell confirmed for Bachelor in Paradise?
