During the Backstreet Boys’ performance of “I Want It That Way,” Brian Littrell went into the audience looking for a celebrity to join the song and passed a microphone to Seinfeld, according to The Daily Beast’s February 15, 2025 account. Seinfeld smiled, clapped and sang along as he tried to keep up.

The Backstreet Boys’ official Millennium album page lists “I Want It That Way.” Their store also lists a Millennium 2.0 CD containing the song. That album is a music release, not a recording of the SNL50 concert or Seinfeld’s appearance.
