How much did Suga donate, and who received it?
Severance Hospital said Suga donated ₩5 billion to the project for the Min Yoongi Treatment Center. Yonhap News Agency reported the same amount and recipient on June 23, 2025. The published reports give the donation in Korean won; they do not provide a dated exchange rate for converting it to another currency.

What is the Min Yoongi Treatment Center for?
The center is planned as a service for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, combining clinical support with research and programs intended to help build independence and social skills. The hospital describes planned services including speech-language, psychological and behavioral therapies.
In a statement quoted in SBS’s June 25, 2025 report, child psychiatrist Professor Chun Geun-ah said: “This center was made possible thanks to the financial support and talent donation from BTS member SUGA. It aims to use music for social skills training, along with direct rehabilitation programs for independence.”
What is the MIND program?
The hospital says Suga and Professor Chun developed MIND, a social-skills program using music, interaction, social connection and diversity. Activities described by the hospital include playing instruments, singing, and expressing thoughts and feelings through music. Hospital and Yonhap accounts also say Suga joined music sessions on weekends.
