The six-episode Kannada series is listed on ZEE5, where the title page gives April 25, 2025 as its release date.
What is Ayyana Mane about?
Jaaji arrives in Chikmagalur as the new bride of Dushyantha and joins his wealthy family. A death occurs on the day she reaches the household; more deaths follow, bringing the family’s deity, a possible curse and the safety of the women in the house into question. ZEE5’s synopsis centers on the mysterious deaths, hidden secrets and a sacred Kondayya idol. Scroll describes Jaaji as struggling to hold on to her sanity under family pressure.
Does the mystery work?
Scroll Staff’s review says the early intrigue ebbs as the series unfolds. In its view, Ayyana Mane lacks the atmosphere and dread needed for a story built around a house of horrors. The eventual explanation for the deaths also feels barely plausible to the reviewer, particularly in light of where the victims are found.
That weakness blunts the series’ apparent chance to challenge superstition: a mystery about belief and fear has less force if its resolution does not persuade. This is Scroll’s critical assessment, rather than an uncontested account of how viewers will respond.

Performances and craft
Scroll praises Kushee Ravi’s performance as Jaaji, finding her convincing as a woman trying to maintain her sanity amid mounting pressure. The review also highlights Manasi Sudhir’s authoritative presence as Nagamma. Shilpa Hegde’s costume work receives a specific mention: the saris help shape the characters, and one is integrated into the plot.
For credits, spellings differ between the sources: Scroll identifies Kushee Ravi as Jaaji and Manasi Sudhir as Nagamma, while ZEE5 lists Khushi Ravi and gives Sudhir’s character name as Nagalambike. Scroll names Ramesh Indira as writer and director; ZEE5 credits him as director.

Is Ayyana Mane worth watching?
If you are drawn to a family-house mystery and want to see Kushee Ravi’s performance, the premise and acting praise may be enough to make it worth sampling. If your main reason for watching is a tightly constructed supernatural mystery or a forceful critique of superstition, Scroll’s review flags the central drawbacks: underdeveloped suspense and an unconvincing explanation. It describes the result as closer to a television serial or a film split across six episodes than a fully realized horror story.
