What happened at the altar?
Only Ali and Anton and KB and Edmond made it to the altar, and neither couple married. Netflix described Season 9 as the first season of the series to end without a marriage. Megan and Jordan broke up before the ceremony; Madison and Joe and Annie and Nick also did not marry.

In a Netflix Tudum interview about the finale, series creator Chris Coelen said, “Whether they succeed or fail, the trying is the most enjoyable and important part for me.” The interview was published October 25, 2025.
What the cast said about their relationships
Ali and Anton
At the reunion, Ali described differences in habits and values as part of the breakup and said she wanted to keep her dating life private. Anton described their lifestyles and values as incompatible and said he was in a new relationship. Those are each participant’s explanations; neither should be treated as a neutral, independently established account of the split. Netflix’s newer guide says the pair remain apart and reports that Anton has lived with Miranda for more than a year.

Kalybriah (KB) and Edmond
In Netflix’s October 2025 reunion coverage, KB described their post-show conversation as closure and said she still had a soft spot for Edmond. Edmond said the breakup had been painful and that he was working on personal growth. The September 2026 guide continues to list them as no longer together.
Megan and Jordan
Megan said uncertainty about their compatibility and future led her to end the relationship before the altar. At the reunion, she announced that she had welcomed son Brooks with a new partner. Netflix reported that she and Jordan had become friends; its later guide still lists the original pairing as over and notes Jordan’s children’s book project, Dear Luca, connected to his advocacy for the Type 1 diabetes community.
In a September 30, 2025 interview with Axios Denver, Jordan reflected on his readiness for a serious relationship: “I was not dating with intention. I think I was projecting my own personal insecurities, which obviously is not what you want to be doing if you’re trying to get into a serious, committed relationship.” Axios said the interview responses were lightly edited for length and clarity.
Madison and Joe
Netflix’s September 2026 guide reports that Joe is in a relationship with Averee and Madison is single and back on dating apps after a later relationship ended. The guide does not provide further detail about the end of Madison and Joe’s original relationship.
Annie and Nick
In the October 2025 reunion report, Annie and Nick said they tried dating for about three weeks after leaving the show, then split again. At that time, Annie described a serious new relationship and Nick said he was single. Netflix’s September 2026 guide gives the later update that Annie had returned to dating apps after that more recent relationship ended.
