PerthNow reported that she had announced the planned procedure in a TikTok video six days before its 20 May article; a longer conversation followed on the podcast later that month.

PerthNow reported on 20 May 2024 that Armitage had discussed her planned breast augmentation in a TikTok video posted six days earlier. The article gave her TikTok audience as 105.3k followers at that time; it is a historical figure, not a current count. What she said about her early recovery
In PerthNow’s account, Armitage described nausea, soreness and pain that was worse in the mornings before easing into an ache. She also said she had difficulty lifting her arms. The report said she was taking sponge baths and had temporarily been told not to drink, drive or exercise. These details describe her reported experience at that point in recovery; they are not general postoperative instructions.
PerthNow also quoted Armitage describing how, in her account, the team tried different sizes during the operation, sitting her up while she was asleep to assess the fit. She said they repeated the process around three times. This is her description as reported by PerthNow, not independently verified clinical information. The article mentioned that reading A Court of Thorns and Roses helped keep her occupied.
