A September 2024 report identified two Diddy documentary projects in development. Both later appeared as released series: The Fall of Diddy and Sean Combs: The Reckoning. The old headline’s “in the works” wording describes their status at the time, not their current release status.
How many Diddy docuseries were reported in development?
Two. On September 25, 2024, BGR reported that Investigation Discovery was developing a series with Maxine Productions and that Netflix had confirmed a separate project produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The report described plans, not two programs already available to watch. BGR’s September 2024 report

What the Netflix filmmakers said about the project
In the joint statement reproduced by BGR, Jackson and Stapleton described the story as a complex narrative spanning decades and said they intended to present authentic, nuanced perspectives. They also cautioned that Combs’ story should not be treated as the story of hip-hop as a whole. That statement reflects the filmmakers’ stated aims; it is not an independent finding about the allegations or the series’ conclusions.

How to understand allegations covered in the series
A documentary’s account of allegations is not, by itself, proof that they are true. Treat claims as claims made by the relevant reporting, legal filings, or participants, and distinguish those accounts from findings established through a legal process. The cited project descriptions do not independently adjudicate the allegations.
