Apple’s current series page lists Neuromancer for a global premiere on January 22, 2027. The 10-episode adaptation will open with two episodes, followed by one episode each Friday through March 19, according to Apple’s July 25, 2026 announcement. The date and schedule are official as currently listed, but release plans can change.

When does Apple TV+’s Neuromancer series premiere?

Apple lists January 22, 2027, as the global premiere date. The series will begin with two episodes, then add one new episode every Friday through March 19, 2027. Apple also debuted the first teaser at its San Diego Comic-Con panel. Apple’s current series page and its July 25, 2026 announcement are the official sources for the schedule.

Apple TV+ is the confirmed platform. The announced order is 10 episodes; Apple’s 2026 announcement describes the weekly release plan, rather than listing episode titles or runtimes.

What is the series about?

Apple’s synopsis follows Case, a “damaged, top-rung super-hacker,” drawn into digital espionage and high-stakes crime with Molly, a “razor-girl assassin.” They undertake a heist against a corporate dynasty concealing secrets. That is the official description; Apple has not established further plot details in the cited announcements.

Who is in the cast?

Apple’s current series page identifies four principal character assignments:

Actor Character
Callum Turner Case
Briana Middleton Molly

Apple’s 2026 announcement also names Joseph Lee and Clémence Poésy among the principal cast. The ensemble includes Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Junia Rees, Jordan Kouamé, Emma Laird, Marc Menchaca, André De Shields, and Isabella Pappas. Apple has not publicly assigned every ensemble member a character in the cited material, so those roles remain unspecified here.

Who is making the adaptation?

Graham Roland and JD Dillard created the television series. Roland is showrunner and an executive producer; Dillard directs the first three episodes, and William Gibson is an executive producer. Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content are producers, according to Apple’s 2026 announcement. Apple’s earlier 2024 announcement also named DreamCrew Entertainment as a producer and Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, and Jason Shrier as executive producers. The earlier announcement said Dillard was set to direct the pilot; Apple’s later credit specifies his direction of the first three episodes.

Which book is the series based on?

The series adapts William Gibson’s debut novel Neuromancer, the first book in the Sprawl trilogy. The other novels in the sequence are Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive. Apple and publisher Penguin Random House list the novel as a winner of the Nebula Award, Philip K. Dick Award, and Hugo Award; neither source’s cited material requires adding award dates or other statistics.

Penguin Random House lists a Neuromancer: Deluxe Edition paperback by Gibson, ISBN 9798217190379, published September 8, 2026, at 320 pages. The publisher describes new cover art, interior art, and sprayed edges, and identifies the book as the source of the Apple TV+ adaptation. These are publisher-listed edition details, not a statement about current store stock or price. See the publisher’s listing for the Deluxe Edition.

What is not confirmed yet?

  • Apple’s cited pages do not establish episode titles or runtimes.
  • They do not provide a complete role-by-role cast list.
  • No territory-specific schedule details beyond the global premiere listing are established in the cited material.
